Amanda was born and raised in New Jersey, where she started working in the restaurant industry at 16. After attending Johnson and Wales University in Providence, RI, Amanda was Sous Chef at The Harvest Moon Inn in Ringoes, NJ for 3 years. Starting with Compass Group in 2007, she managed two accounts with Johnson and Johnson in Horsham, PA. Amanda has since moved to Florida in November of 2009, and started cooking at the Lower School in Stuart, FL. Amanda loves going to the beach with her husband, warm weather and the laid back attitude of Florida. She volunteers and is a foster for Big Dog Ranch Rescue in Wellington, FL. Currently she has 2 dogs, Della & Mylo, as well as 2 cats, Rocket & Buster.

Before working at The Pine School in Stuart, Maria has worked in various restaurants. She has been with FLIK since 2009. She is a single mother of three kids, Edgar, 25, Karla, 17, and Carlos, 13. She has a love for animals with 1 dog, 1 cat, 1 fish, 1 parrot and 2 birds. Her hobbies include excersizing, dancing, cooking and watching tv with her children.
Marbel Sanchez
Marbel is from Mexico and has work for FLIK Independent School Dining since 2007. She has earned her position as sous chef and brings a great culinary infuence to our menu everyday.
